Enough of the name dropping, the hog roast company is run by Jim and Andy – that’s us behind this beautiful scenery. We’re good mates as well as business partners. . . in fact Andy was best man at my wedding.
Yes that’s a pint of scrumpy that we have in hands. Well, apples are the perfect accompaniment to a great pork dish. This was taken after we finished a recent wedding function.
Experienced qualified chef at hog roast helm
Andy has years of Head Chef experience under his belt designing menus, managing teams and running the show. I’ve spent a decent amount of time working behind the bar in reputable drinking establishments and restaurants.
Andy and I first met when we started working together under the same roof, in one particular country pub. That seems like a lifetime ago. We went our separate ways, going on to do different things to make a living. . . but we both still have fond memories of working there.
We kept in touch and a few years ago we put our heads together (and skills) to find a way of starting a catering business together – we shared a passion for food, drink and good hospitality. After much discussion we knew that a running a hog roast company would be perfect for us. It’s a fantastic way to feed lots of guests outside, in all seasons.

We’ve both lived and worked in Redditch for quite a while, a short distance away from one another (and still do), near the lovely Arrow Valley Country Park.
This park is a beautiful place to walk, park run, picnic and chill out. It’s the inspiration that made the naming of Arrow Valley Hog Roast happen. We’ve always talked about running a mobile catering business and now we’re doing it.
Although based in Redditch, we’re happy to travel further afield. It’s good to get out on the open road to visit places and meet new folks. That’s a perk of running our mobile hog roast company.
We enjoy feeding and pleasing our customers
In our opinion, you can’t beat eating a hot pork bap outside or at a festival. I’m sure Andy will agree when I say that outside catering is our passion. Going outside and feeding large groups of people is something that we love to do. We’re proud to show up at an event and look after our customers by giving them our best.
